As I was researching the Internet for a blog topic, I came across a YouTube Video of an older man dancing to Lady Gaga's Poker Face. The entire dance was choreographed and he was really getting down. This got me thinking about some of my favorite promotional items. I love listening to music any chance I get, so anytime promotional items involve speakers or compatibility with my iPod, I am immediately intrigued. I have a promotional speaker dock that I can use to play my iPod at the pool, on my deck, anywhere. So easy to take along and just rock out.

I just received a message from my sister in regards to the new sneak peak trailer for a Smurfs' movie coming out next year. The first thing I thought of were the promotional items sure to come as the release date approaches. Promotional items with a “mini” theme or connotation would be awesome, and of course the blatantly obvious blue promotional items will definitely be all over the place. I normally don’t like remakes of my 80’s favorites, but from the short clip I already viewed, this one might not destroy my childhood memories of these cute, lovable characters.
